Allegiant Giving Corporation is committed to investing in tomorrow’s leaders. Leaders are found in many places emerging through athletics, activities involving teamwork, helping other students advance, community service, and more.
This year Allegiant Giving introduced its Leadership Award Program to three area high schools; Roseville High School, Rocklin High School, Lincoln High School, Del Oro High School, Whitney High School, and Oakmont High School. The scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated leadership qualities. Each student is to have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and submit a 500 word essay explaining, “what constitutes a good leader?” and “what has made you a good leader?”.
Each student recipient is identified on an Allegiant Giving Leadership Award perpetual plaque that will be placed in a highly visible area on their school campus. Allegiant Giving plans to expand the program by adding three additional high schools next year. Congratulations to this year’s 2016 recipients and thank you to the Allegiant Giving Partners for making this award possible.
